Computational Solutions president and founder, Kristian Sandberg, has signed a book contract with CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group) to write a book with the title “Scientific Computing for Engineers and Scientists: A Practical Handbook”. The book is intended to be a handbook that collects algorithms and theorems frequently used by scientists and engineers when solving problems in computational sciences.
Besides providing frequently used algorithms and theorems collected in one convenient volume, the book will also provide an intuitive introduction to some of the fundamental topics used in applied mathematics and computational science. Topics covered in the volume include
- Linear Algebra
- Signal Processing
- Image Processing and Computer Vision
- Data Analysis and Processing in Higher Dimensions
- Numerical Methods for Differentiation and Integration
- Equation Solving
- ODEs and PDEs
- Software Engineering and Prototyping for Scientific Computing.
The book will be published in late 2017 or early 2018.
